About this contract

The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS FoundationTrust requires bids for the provision of non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). This test is required to analyse free fetal DNA circulating in the pregnant mother's blood with a view to prenatal screening for Down's syndrome (trisomy 21) and other common chromosomal conditions (trisomies 18 and 13). The take up figures for this service are between 150-200 tests per year. This contract will run for a period of 12 months with an option to extend by a further two periods of 12 months.
