About this contract

Hythe and Dibden Parish Council are seeking tenders for the supply of a new John Deere X950R c/w 54" mowing deck with a 650 litre high tip collector (or a similar type of mower). The ride on mower will be predominantly used for maintenance work on the Parish Council's Public Open Spaces and therefore should be supplied with suitable tyres, suitable warning beacons, road registration and number plate The new ride on mower is required to travel on and work adjacent to the public highway and as such should be fully road legal and complaint with the Chapter 8 Traffic Safety Measures and Signs for Road Works and Temporary Situations. Additional information: The contractor will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering machinery of a similar nature on budget and on time. The applicant must also be able to provide the Council with written assurances regarding the time to provide spare or replacement parts. Contract Summary. The applicant is required to provide value for money. The applicant must include a breakdown of costs for the proposal including • Equipment summary • Manufactures discount • Any additional discounts / special offers • Estimated times for delivery of the machinery • Details of Manufactures Warranties and Guarantees
