About this contract

North East Finance is seeking to appoint one or two law firms to provide legal services under two Lots: (1) State Aid; Public Procurement and EU Law and (2) General Corporate and Commercial Advice. North East Finance is the holding fund management company for the Finance for Business North East programme: a venture capital and loan fund initiative providing growth finance to SMEs based in the North East of England. It is a private company which delivers the programme via FCA-authorised fund managers. It is funded by grants from the European Regional Development Fund and the UK government and also by a commercial loan from the European Investment Bank. Tenders are sought from law firms with relevant capabilities to advise North East Finance on the specified areas over the next 2 to 3 years.
