About this contract
This is an Invitation to Tender for Rochdale’s Community and Family Prevention Service Rochdale Borough Council is procuring a Community and Family Prevention Service that will form an integral part of the Borough’s prevention offer as set out in the Locality Plan. The aim of the service is to provide a programme of interventions across the Borough that empower families to make healthier lifestyle choices, connect with their community, support volunteering and improve mental wellbeing. This will help to prevent long term health problems. The service will ensure that we address our local priorities of childhood obesity, tobacco use, reducing cardio vascular and the risk of long term conditions and will increase uptake of preventive services particularly for those in greatest need. We welcome single provider, consortia bids & other collaborative approaches as we look to develop the value and diversity offered by small, mid-sized and larger organisations. This marketing event is an opportunity for individual providers to consider such options and hear about our vision for this service.
