About this contract

Clitheroe Market is an open area of 3300m2 in the centre of Clitheroe used for market trading. 1000m2 is occupied by fixed market units. The remaining 2300 m2 is mostly elemental paving, with tarmac repair patches over which is approximately 200m2 of semi-permanent market units together with a number of bollards, bins and street lighting units.. The paving is in poor condition. This contract promotes the redevelopment of the paved areas and replacing the bollards, bins, benches and amenity lighting, whilst allowing uninterrupted trading during the works.
