About this contract
Investment Property Advisor Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of investment property advice and portfolio review Project Description In common with a number of local authorities, Swindon Borough Council is looking to acquire more commercial properties for purely investment purposes to provide new and additional sources of income over the medium to long term to support the delivery of Council services. The Council has set an annual budgetary target of an additional £500,000 net income starting in 2017/18, increasing by £500,000 each year thereafter. We anticipate this may require around 4 to 5 completed acquisitions annually reflecting individual lot sizes of between £3.5m to £7m. To support this acquisition programme the Council is looking to appoint a specialist Investment Property Advisor to review of the existing portfolio, and provide investment advice on future acquisitions Full details relating to the Services are provided in the tender documents.
