About this contract

Both Wretham and Bodney Camp are operational training facilities consisting of accommodation, kitchens and ablution buildings housing between 500-800 military personnel at any one time. Many of the accommodation buildings are circa 1950's Nissan style wriggly tin construction housing up to 10 men. Following the arrival of Operation Interflex and an unprecedented level of troops staying within the accommodation buildings, there has been an increased level of moisture through people and wet equipment creating unwanted issues within the buildings such as mould. A site survey was conducted in February 2024, which highlighted some of the issues, and remedial actions required to prevent/minimise reoccurring issues. A series of upgrade works to buildings across Bodney and Wretham Camp are to include;- - Installation of Positive Input Ventilation system (PIV) - External Re-point/Render works - Internal re-decoration - Humidistat Installation
