About this contract

Together with NHS Barnsley ICB, the Council are looking at how intermediate care services are delivered in Barnsley.   Intermediate care services provide support for a short time to help patients recover and increase their independence. Reflecting on the lessons learnt from our current intermediate care provision and using data relating to future projections for this type of service, members from the ICB, BHNFT, BMBC and SWYPFT are developing a new model. Commissioners wish to invite interested Providers to provide feedback through this briefing exercise.
