About this contract
NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified providers for the provision of an Integrated Urgent Care Service for Dorset. The Integrated Urgent Care service consists of 111, a Clinical Assessment Service and Primary Care Out of Hours. This service is part of a wider Dorset Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC)system. Transformation of UEC is a key component of the Dorset Sustainability and Transformation Plan(STP). This is set out within the portfolios of identified work to implement the STP and builds upon the decisions taken in NHS Dorset CCG's Clinical Services Review. The vision of the Dorset STP UEC programme aligns with the national vision outlined by Sir Bruce Keogh and NHS England's 'Five Year Forward View' (2014). In order to achieve this vision, the approach is centred around the development of a Dorset UEC system made up of services working together in an integrated way, that enables more patients to be appropriately reviewed and treated in and out of hospital environment. This will result in an enhanced community offer, a reduction in ED attendances and avoidable admissions. The service will assess patients with their care needs, working in partnership with the wider care system across ambulance, primary community, secondary, mental health social care and the voluntary sector. A prospectus of the services can be downloaded from the procurement portal. An organisation assessment form and provider questionnaire can also be downloaded for information. Expressions of interest must be received no later than 12 midday on Monday 5 March 2018 via the Due North Procurement portal https://procontract.due-north.com Providers who previously expressed an interest and participated in the earlier market engagement process MUST re-register their interest via the Due North Procurement Portal https://procontract.due-north.com A Provider briefing session for providers has been scheduled for 9:15am on Thursday 8th March 2018. If you wish to attend please confirm when expressing an interest via the Due North Procurement Portal There is a maximum of 3 attendees per provider. Further information This is a Competitive procurement exercise that is being conducted in accordance with a process based on the open procedure under the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
