About this contract

The requirement is to let a tender on behalf of Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust for a decontamination / sterilisation service. Currently the Trust has an outsourced managed service contract in place with one supplier decontaminating instruments across a number of specialisms. This contract is expires January 2017. The transportation is currently carried out by an incumbent courier services provider and integrated with the daily postal collections and deliveries service. The aim is for the organisation to continue to be compliant with current legislation and have an agreed specification in place across the whole organisation, which can be utilised by other departments and Solent NHS Trust as required.
