About this contract

To improve our regulation of postgraduate medical training in the UK, we are reviewing the standards we use to approve curricula and assessment systems, and the associated curricula approvals process to embed the standards. In addition we are working on updated guidance on good practice in postgraduate assessments and updating our quality framework. To make sure we are properly informed in the development of this work, we are seeking expert opinion in the form of three related but distinct pieces of work. These will identify: 1 key principles and their application in the design of curriculum (including assessment) frameworks 2 key principles and their application in the quality assurance of curriculum (including assessment) frameworks 3 key issues and possible solutions to be considered in developing and improving workplace based assessments, and in quality assuring these assessments.
