About this contract

This tender is for the provision of a programme of Hydrometric Training for the Environment Agency. The training will provide knowledge and performance skills to enable reliable and cost-effective provision of high quality hydrometric data relevant to the Environment Agency business needs. Our aim is to develop a more consistent national training package, which will increase cross area operability, by focusing on current techniques and technologies. To enable this to happen a good base knowledge of methods, procedures, practices, and technologies are required. The programme will cover some more specialised aspects of the subject as well as a basic foundation for new entrants.
