About this contract

Potential bidders should note that this is a below threshold concessionary contract tender. Norfolk County Council requires a service for the delivery of a hot meal to tenants living within 15 Housing with Care (HwC) settings situated within Norfolk effective from 1 April 2024. Please note that the transition of the service from the current provider, also considering the impact of the Bank Holidays may require the new Provider to be operational during the week of the 25th March 2024. The specification details the opportunity for a Provider(s) to enter a Concession Contract with the Council for 3 years, with appropriate break clauses this service. The use of a Concession Contract to define this arrangement, arises from the Council identifying a defined cohort of potential customers but not directly purchasing a service, nor offering a committed volume of business nor subsidy. Subsidy for the purposes of this document is both direct financial support and use of on-site kitchens for the preparation and/or storage of food which will not form part of this Concession Contract. Please note that the values in this notice are estimate only and depend on take up.
