About this contract

Home Group's role is to provide general needs housing, supported housing services, and home ownership options targeted towards helping some of society?s most vulnerable people take control of their own lives: Home Group houses over 120,000 people a year, managing 55,000 homes in over 200 local authority areas in England, Scotland and Wales. Each year this includes working with almost 30,000 vulnerable people through 500+ supported housing, justice and health services. This contract is to deliver to ensure full compliance with the Approved Code of Practice and Guidance (ACOP L8), The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems. The main scope of works under this contract will include: Consultancy services to include consultancy, training, Risk Assessments, and Maintenance services to include cleaning, disinfection, Thermostatic Mixer Valve (TMV) installation and servicing, Base Exchange softener service, microbiological testing, water tank checking and replacement services and other. a. to include the undertaking and / or advice on how to undertake Risk Assessments (BS8580:2010) and Methods of Sampling for Legionella organisms in water and related materials (BS7592:1992) b. Provide a maintenance offer for all aspects of hot and cold water systems following HSE Technical Guidance, HSG274, Parts 1, 2 and 3 Additional information: Applicants will be considered for short listing by assessment of the information provided in response to this PQQ.
