About this contract
Herts Valleys CCG and Hertfordshire County Council (on behalf of East & North Herts CCG) would like to invite suitably qualified and experienced providers of counselling and IAPT services to qualify for the Hertfordshire Any Qualified Provider (AQP) of Counselling Services. Those Providers who are successful in qualifying will be awarded a contract with no guarantee of activity or income. Payment will be dependent on providers treating patients referred to them from primary care. The service will offer primary care counselling to service users registered with a GP in Hertfordshire aged over 16 years old with mild to moderate range of mental health problems reporting as suffering from; 1. Pathological bereavement 2. Coping with injury or illness 3. Developmental or life crises 4. Emotional or physical abuse issues 5. Family relationship issues 6. Loss e.g. relationship, employment, health etc. 7. Self-image and identity issues 8. Lack of direction, alienation, existential problems 9. Stress and trauma - pre and post event 10. Issues of sexuality 11. Early onset addictive behaviours; drug misuse, eating disorders, alcoholism Service to be Commissioned Primary Care Counselling providing a counselling service and Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme model of mental health support. In East and North Herts CCG all counselling offered will be IAPT compliant In Herts Valleys CCG, both IAPT and non-IAPT compliant therapies can be offered Indicative rates are as follows: £40 per 1-2-1 session £50 per group session Indicative Timeframe for the AQP Process The following dates are the indicative Key Milestones for the AQP process: Publication of Contract Advert – 1 June 2016 Deadline for Submission of Proposal – 17:00 on 5 July 2016 Evaluation of Proposals – 6 to 15 July 2016 Providers informed of outcome – 22 July 2016 Feedback to Bidders delivered – 25 to 29 July 2016 Standstill Period – 29 to 8 August 2016 Mobilisation Period – 15 August to 30 September Service Commencement – 1 October 2016 Additional information: Registering your organisation In order to express an interest in this AQP process and access the questionnaire and relevant documentation, please register your organisation on our Portal (see below).
