About this contract

1.8 Bolsover District Council wishes to procure a Health Improvement Worker to work closely with communities and organisations in areas of high deprivation across Bolsover district to improve health and reduce health inequalities. This work is being commissioned with funding from Derbyshire County Council Public Health Locality Funding which is managed by Bolsover Partnership. A key aspect to the work will be to work in partnership with local partners to develop initiatives to improve health at a community level, building upon and adding value to existing projects/services aimed at improving the health of local people. The post will have a locality focus but will work across Bolsover district, and will extend the capacity of the existing Public Health Team based at the Arc in Clowne
