About this contract

Hertfordshire Catering Limited (hereinafter referred to as HCL) is a limited company, limited by shares and wholly owned by Hertfordshire County Council. HCL is committed to delivering excellence in education catering to schools throughout Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. We presently deliver a catering service in circa 400 primary schools and 40 secondary schools along with other commercial units. HCL currently has no system in place for electronic meal selection and payment, but is looking to consolidate this functionality into its existing IT provision. As part of its catering service, HCL is looking to implement an Electronic Meal Selection, Payment and Kitchen Management System to schools with the aim of enhancing the offer to children, parents and schools. In order to fulfill this requirement HCL is seeking a contractor with vision and resources to share in HCL's future development and plans, who can provide a system with benefits including, but not limited to, reducing the administrative burden to school offices and increasing efficiencies of all stakeholders. A full specification detailing the requirement is given in Schedule 1 of the Contract Document. Additional information: Full details are in the tender documentation. Is a Recurrent Procurement Type? : No
