Hertfordshire County Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council) has a requirement for a Single Supplier Framework for the Provision of Demountable Buildings.The Council is looking to appoint a single provider to the Framework to supply Demountable Buildings to the Council within its administrative area. The estimated value of all orders placed through the Framework for the possible four year period is approximately eight million pounds (£8,000,000).For the avoidance of doubt, the estimated annual value of the Contract will be approximately £2,000,000. The Contract will be awarded for an initial term of two years, with the option to extend the Contract up to two further years. The estimated total value of the Contract is stated in II.1.5) of this notice and is for the initial term inclusive of the approximate value for extensions. The Framework is for:• supply and installation; • installation only;• refurbishment; and• removal and relocationof both temporary and permanent demountable accommodation, most typically to educational premises for classroom use. The buildings may require:• a flat or pitched roof; and/or• a range of different external finishing options to comply with the requirements of the planning authority.Please note that the contract requirements will be subject to available financial resources, supplier performance and flexibility to meet changing demands.Organisations should be aware that due to the nature of the Works provided, any Contract formed as a result of this procurement process shall be executed as a deed.
