INVITATION TO TENDER - ISSUED 6TH SEPTEMBER 2019 Tenders are invited in respect of four contracts, with a duration of three to five years, detailed below on an individual or any combination basis as well as a one overall contract basis (GM5) effective from 1st April 2020 and an interim period of 1st January to 31st March 2020 Tender Closing Time and Date: 1pm, Thursday 17th October 2019 Submission of Tender to: Colne town council, Colne town hall, Albert Road, Colne, Lancashire, BB8 0AQ. GM2 - Inspection Cleaning, repair and maintenance of (21) Bus Shelters in Colne GM3 - Inspection and cleaning of ( 7) Playgrounds, ( 3 ) Multi Use Games Areas ( 1 ) Kick about area and ( 88 ) equipment/benches and maintenance. GM4 - Inspection, cleaning, maintenance, grass cutting in Alkincoats Park GM5 Combined Contract for GM1, GM2, GM3, and GM4 It is proposed that the successful tenderer will be advised by 25th October 2019. Scheduled start date for all Contracts is 1st January 2020. Additional information: For the Combined Tender document, we do not require each tender price to be resubmitted, only the revised tender price on a combined basis overall as detailed in the attached Combined Tender form GM5. You should note that, if submitting a combined tender, all individual pricing for miscellaneous works should be as per your individual item tenders submission. Please note that, within each document, there is a compliance section that must be met in order for the tender evaluation to proceed. You are also asked to note that this contract(s) will attract fines if performance does not meet specified outputs, potentially escalating to termination of the contract(s). As part of this process you should accompany your tender submission with two written references from your existing customers as to your professional competence, reliability and suitability to carry out these proposed works . Failure to provide these will automatically disqualify you from the tender process.
