About this contract

A ground investigation is required to obtain environmental and geotechnical information for the stabilisation of the Gorey Pier, St Martin, Jersey. The planned ground investigation includes the following elements: • 10No. rotary-percussive boreholes, • 6No. Plate Load Tests (within Pier Trial Pits), • 12No. trial pits, • 4No. Hand Trial Pits (Parapet investigations), • 2No. Concrete Cores and Window Sampling/Boreholes • Geophysics, • 10No Hand Dug Pits • Surveying, and • Laboratory testing
