About this contract
Wolverhampton Homes Limited (WHL) is an Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO) established in 2005 which manages and maintains Wolverhampton City Council’s Social Housing Stock entailing approximately 23,200 properties, including houses and high, medium and low-rise flats, and a number of shops. Under the Right-to-Buy scheme, WHL has to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) for each Right-to-Buy enquiry. Under its Void Property process, it also has to produce an EPC each for each Void Property once it has been re-furbished and ready for occupation. A Service Provider is required to provide support to WHL’s in-house accredited Domestic Energy Assessors, as the number of EPCs increase due to the Right-to-Buy scheme. Historically, we have undertaken approximately: •1100 per annum on the Void Process •600 per annum on the Right-to-Buy. However, no guarantees as to volumes under this Contract can be made. WHL also manages a number of shops. When re-letting the shops a Commercial EPCs may be required, however, this is not expected to be significant requirement. As a Public Authority, occupying buildings many of which are frequently visited by the public, Display Energy Certificates are also required. The organisation has 5 offices. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
