About this contract

Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking to identify a singular cement product which allows for drilling into, but acts like a bone graft which helps the patients own bone to remodel. It therefore combines the properties of a bone cement with that of a bone graft substitute. The single product must be available with antibiotics loaded into it, so it can be used in complex infected cases without the need for manual addition of antibiotics. The product must be CE Marked Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
