About this contract

Shropshire and Wrekin Fire and Rescue Authority are seeking an architect to lead the refurbishment of Much Wenlock Fire Station. The contract will be awarded on the basis of both cost and quality, and a comprehensive tender response is required to enable assessment in these areas. The Authority is additionally seeking to establish a call-off agreement to enable direct appointment for other works ranging from internal refurbishments to extension and remodelling schemes, to a total build value of £1 million or up to 5 years. Note funding for this work is not agreed and no warranty on the value of additional work is provided. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
