About this contract

The Bank monitors developments in UK SME finance markets, publishing this research in reports which are used by internal and external stakeholders to gain insight into how well the markets are functioning. This mini competition is to provide the Bank with access to detailed deal level data on UK SME equity deals over time from various equity providers. The data will be used as the key source for the Bank's annual Small Business Finance Markets and Equity Tracker publications, our quarterly market update, as well as any other ad-hoc research. The data may also be used to answer other queries in which the Bank may produce its only user-defined classifications to categorise the data , and may also feed into wider UK government publications/ speeches on UK equity finance markets.
