About this contract

South Norfolk Council wishes to procure a service to support residents at risk of homelessness who have barriers or vulnerabilities to maintaining accommodation, retaining independence and developing self-efficacy and life skills. The service will primarily consist of but not limited to homelessness prevention and wellbeing outreach casework, group interventions and out of hours on call resources. There is currently an unmet demand across SNC services to be able to support our more challenging homelessness and early help cases. There is a need to offer a more intensive support model to engage this group of individuals to regain or maintain their independence and develop strategies to allow them to manage their own wellbeing needs. The service will supplement and work alongside existing Council services including but not limited to Housing Solutions and Community Connectors to support customers to achieve the outcomes detailed in the specification. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
