About this contract

CSA Catapult would like to explore the capabilities of multi-purpose fibre assemblies. The assembly's purposes will include, but are not limited to, fibre to integrated chip, fibre to package case, fibre to lens, and fibre to detectors. Multi-purpose fibre assembly is crucial for the entire photonics industry in the UK. CSA Catapult would like to explore this capability to provide services to customers, enabling a faster prototype development cycle. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
