About this contract
The University is looking to procure an Atomic Force Microscope with the ability to produce high-performance measurements in liquid and air to cover multi-purpose system such as living cells, single systemsmolecules, tissues, soft polymers and composite materials. It needs to be temperature controlled with microscope use. One type of application that AFM will be used for is to look at live cells and the interaction between cells and surface and the surrounding environment. Additional information: The system will need to include image acquisition and analysis combined with a software workstation and monitor. It should be user-friendly to allow novice users to learn to operate the system quickly, without the requirement of a dedicated operator. It will have the ability to be upgraded.
