About this contract

The Suffolk Growth Programme Board (SGPB) is reviewing the potential to increase the economic and social value generated to local supply chains through public sector procurement. Over 2018 we are undertaking work to look at both the contractor and supplier side of procurement and by year end we will have: •a solid evidence base of what is procured locally and its value; •an understanding of where and why local procurement is successful - identifying local and national good practice case studies to improve the roll-out of successful initiatives; and •an action plan to increase local sourcing through agreed but ambitious targets. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
