About this contract

Quotations are invited for the Supply of Events Stewarding and Crowd Control to support Charnwood Borough Council in the management and stewarding of its prestigious events which are held within Loughborough Town Centre. One of the annual events being, Loughborough Pleasure fair which is held every November. Loughborough Fair is an historic charter Street Fair and has been in existence since 1221 and attracts an average of between 30000 - 40000 visitors over a four day period. This year’s Fair will be held from Wednesday 11th November - Saturday 14th November 2015. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
