About this contract

Trinity House are looking for a supplier to assess the visual characteristics of Aids to Navigation (AtoN's) with the aim of optimising future machine vision operations. The main focus will be on navigation buoys. However, another objective is for the developed machine vision system to discriminate between floating AtoN and non-navigational objects, such as ships and other buoy types. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
