About this contract

Circle Housing Property Services (CHPS) is a Direct Labour Organisation (DLO), which provides reactive repair services to Clarion Housing stock in East Anglia, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Surrey. Though most of CHPS repairs jobs are performed by in-house resources, they have a constant requirement for sub-contractors to cover works where the capacity or expertise are not available internally. Therefore Clarion wishes to appoint 1 to 3 contractors per requirement to provide repair works where CHPS in-house resources are unable to cover due to capacity or geographical location. This requirement is split into lots based on CHPS regional office llocation and sub-lots based on work type: LOT 1 - DORKING (covering Surrey) 1.1Responsive Repairs Including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, brickwork, plasterwork and other finishes, external and roofing repairs, and groundwork) 1.2Void Works (Including void cleaning, and void clearance and waste disposal> 1.3Drainage Works (Including drain, gully and channel clearance, drain, gully, and channel installation/repair, and drain surveys and testing) 1.4Scaffolding (Including provision and erection of scaffolding for roofing works) LOT 2 - BISHOPS STORTFORD (covering Hertfordshire & Essex) 2.1 Void Works 2.2 Drainage Works 2.3 Scaffolding LOT 3 - NORWICH & MARCH (covering Norfolk & Cambridgeshire) 3.1 Void Works 3.2 Drainage Works 3.3 Scaffolding The requirement for all lots cover normal hours and out of hours service. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
