About this contract

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust are conducting a tender to select the Primary Contractor role regarding the refurbishment and extension to an existing Seclusion Room at Snowsfield Ward, Mapother House, Maudsley Hospital Denmark Hill London SE5 8AZ. The site is currently an area under an existing balcony where the trust store gardening equipment for the adjacent communal garden. The proposed works consist of the extension and refurbishment of three existing rooms to reconfigure the seclusion room and provide a new District Cleaning Facility. The works are expected to start on December 16th 2019 and be completed within 15 weeks of commencement. The Contract being used is the JCT Minor Works Building Contract with Contractors Design. The contractors designed portion will comprise the design and construction of Mechanical and Electrical Services. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
