About this contract
An experienced cultural organisation is sought to develop and deliver an engaging light festival for Thamesmead residents, focusing on our natural spaces and iconic architecture. The appointed organisation will create a small scale but dynamic festival that will encourage the exploration of Thamesmead's natural spaces through a series of artistic light installations in different locations. The light festival is part of Thamesmead's ongoing cultural programme, which aims to bring exceptional culture to everyday experiences and engage with local communities, and part of our growing landscape activation programme which aims to reconnect Thamesmead residents with the rich nature on their doorstep. The festival can take place on any date in January or February 2020, and can be on one date or spread over several days. Proposed details should be included in the tender submission. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. This opportunity is being run as a sub-OJEU opportunity, open to any bidder in the UK.
