About this contract
The University of Leeds is looking to procure Tree maintenance framework to include tree felling; tree surgery; stump removal; tree pruning; to be carried out on all University property including residential sites and farms. The University has an extensive tree stock over its numerous sites, with over 1400 trees on the main campus. A large majority of the trees boarder public highways and lie within conservation areas. Tree work will be allocated annually following the annual tree survey undertaken by a 3rd party, further to this tree work requests will be on an ad hoc basis following client requests or observations throughout the year that need addressing. Provision of 24 hour 365 day per year emergency cover to all University of Leeds property. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
