About this contract

University Campus Suffolk is inviting expressions of interest from companies and individuals who wish to operate a café and catering business from the ground floor of the Waterfront building facing directly onto the idyllic Ipswich Waterfront and next to the adjoining UCS gallery. UCS currently has approximately 3000 students and 450 staff at its Ipswich campus, which opened in 2008 and occupies a stunning waterfront location. Set in the heart of the campus, the building is located close to student accommodation (Athena Hall) and prime residential properties in nearby Orwell Quay and Duke Street. We are seeking for new provision to be in place for the 1 August 2016 in readiness for return of students through September for the beginning of the new academic year. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
