About this contract

The Northern Lighthouse Board will install ground and structural monitoring equipment at Copinsay Lighthouse following a number of historic rock falls from the cliff face in front of the boundary wall surrounding the lighthouse, as well as observed structural damage defects with the lighthouse itself, a remote structural monitoring system will be implemented to monitor the boundary wall and lighthouse to provide an early warning system should there be any significant movement. The lighthouse compound is on the edge of a cliff and it is important we understand the rate for recession of the cliff edge. The following equipment is required . Please note that as part of our evaluation process, your tender response will be share with our strategic partner who will be assisting NLB with the evaluation and the monitoring works at Copinsay, Requirements This project is for the supply of equipment only. Pricing schedule will be required to be completed and returned on Delta. 17 x Wireless Tilt Sensor 8 x Wireless Crack Sensor 3 x Horizontal In-Place Inclinometer and Wireless Node 1 x Wireless Datalogger & Gateway 6 x Solar Power System Please refer to Schedule of Requirements for a more detailed specification Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
