About this contract

Colchester Borough Council is looking to appoint an operator through a concession contract to commercialise and operate a dark fibre network providing gigabit connectivity to town centre businesses. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Completed tenders must be submitted by 12:00 (noon) on Monday 8 August 2016.
