About this contract
The Council are seeking the services of a demolition contractor to demolish Greenacres sheltered housing complex (Linford Cresent Coalville LE67 4QT) which was built in 1973 and comprises of 22 flats and supporting communal facilities, over 2 storeys with a pitched roof structure. The contractor will be expected to demolish the complex down to ground level and all below ground foundations, services and drainage are to be removed, apart from surface water drain that services the parking area adjacent to NWL dwellings which must be retained and any connection sealed off. The site will be available for demolition between 2 January and 31 March 2017. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
