NOTE: This notice was updated on 02 March 2020 for the following reason: Deadline extended to 09/03/2020(Forestry England have an opportunity for a new tenant to operate a Lease for Moors Valley Country Park Ice Ice Cream Outlet for a period of 8 years. The Kiosk is currently being renovated and extended to provide more internal space, wider service counter, a walk in freezer and external storage area. Moors Valley Country Park is the busiest Forest Centre on the Forestry England estate, attracting around 1 million visitors per year from the local area and wider afield. It is managed in partnership between Forestry England and Dorset Council. The park is ideally positioned on the Dorset/Hampshire border in the heart of a prime tourist destination and within easy reach of the national road network. The successful bidder/tenant will need to work proactively with Forestry England, alongside existing businesses on site, to provide a high quality visitor experience.) Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
