About this contract

NOTE: This notice was updated on 01 March 2019 for the following reason: The Authority has made the decision to cancel and restart the procurement process for this requirement. The reasoning behind this decision is that a fundamental change to the requirement itself has been identified, which differs from that which was originally advertised. To ensure a fair competition in accordance with the EU public procurement regulations it is the Authority's intention to revise the requirement and re-advertise the work.A competition for the procurement of Chinook Extended Range Fuel Tank Roller Frames. The Authority is looking for 15 Roller Frames across two different sizes and is open to new or existing designs. The roller frames, which are similar to a trolley/trailer/dolly, are used for transporting fuel tanks around an airfield, hangars and on and off a Chinook Helicopter. These roller frames will need to be operated by RAF Personnel and would also need the ability to be attached to a towing vehicle. The Authority will also require maintenance documentation for servicing the Roller Frames.
