About this contract

The proposed contract includes the supply. Installation, testing and commissioning of replacement cooling equipment for the air conditioning system with associated electrical services and controls all serving the minor injuries operating theatre suite and its recovery room. The works also include the installation of temporary ductwork and blanking plates to keep the air supply feeding the operating theatre suite at the weekends when the cooling section of the air supply plant is being worked on. The mechanical services contractor will be the principal contractor and responsible for the associated building works including the site set-up, formation and making good of holes through walls and the roof finishes for refrigerant pipelines and electrical services and protection of the roofs and finishes in the working areas Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
