NOTE: This notice was updated on 28 September 2018 for the following reason: Tender return deadline - Extended to 12 noon 12th October 2018(The execution of works defined within the roads planned maintenance programme.) Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Braintree District Council has identified that the scope of this procurement falls within a business sector which may be attractive to infiltration by organised crime groups. Braintree District Council therefore reserves the right to include enhanced probity checks / requirements at both the selection and award stages of the procurement.
