About this contract

Braintree District Council (BDC) is seeking to purchase one RCV which will be used as a 'Utility' vehicle covering a variety of purposes including, but not limited to, use as a 'hit squad' vehicle for the collection of missed bins and fly tips but which will also act as a support vehicle for the rest of the council's fleet and, as such, must be suitable for the collection of household waste, garden waste, food waste, commercial waste, card/paper and other recyclable materials and glass. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
