About this contract

The existing switch panel for the both generators 3 & 4 is to be upgraded. This is due to the existing breakers having only 3 pole isolation providing insufficient safe working and safe isolation procedures for any servicing or maintenance work undertaken on the generators. Modifications to the new switch panel will include BMS generator monitoring and safe isolation procedures to allow for 4 pole isolation, transferral of generator supplies and the facility to on-load test the generators to comply with HTM 06-02. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
