About this contract

Bedford Borough Council ('the Council') is seeking to commission a provider to introduce Local Area Coordination within Bedford Borough. Specifically the Council requires the successful bidder to recruit three (3) Local Area Coordinators to be catalysts for development of community capacity and "Self-Help" groups. They will foster the creation of, and sign post people to, alternatives that can prevent entry to the care system. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
