About this contract

The works include external modifications to the roof parapet/capping in 2 locations, to alleviate water run-off/staining to the brick façade below, edge protection and minor repairs etc. Works to include; • Installation of galvanized roof edge protection/handrails to the staircase block; • Installation of ladder ties to the stair block; • Adaptations to the roof parapet capping to the stair block; • Adaptations to the roof parapet capping to the Main roof, above the 4 storey section; • Cleaning of staining to brick façade below affected cappings; • Minor brick repairs adjacent the aforementioned areas; • Modifications to the plant compound enclosure at roof level, to seal up the posts and remove water entry; Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
