About this contract
NOTE: This notice was updated on 19 September 2023 for the following reason: Please note this process has been cancelled and will be re-advertised.(To prepare a Strategic Outline Business case which examines if the scheme is viable with sufficient stakeholder support to progress to the next stage of development. This will be a new bus and active travel crossing near the mouth of the River Roding in Barking linking communities in both Newham and Barking Riverside. The Project is funded through the TfL LIPs programme awarded to LBBD. The budget limit is £100,000 and the study report needs to be completed by 1 April 2024. The study outputs need to satisfy government/treasury requirements for any future funding ask to take the scheme forward.
