About this contract

NOTE: This notice was updated on 20 October 2016 for the following reason: To respond to this opportunity, please click here: https://www.delta-esourcing.com/respond/GAGN3DAC98 If you experience any technical difficulties from accessing the above url, then please contact the Delta eSourcing Helpdesk on call 0845 270 7050 or email helpdesk@delta-esourcing.com.As part of its mission to accelerate the move to a sustainable resource-efficient economy, WRAP currently runs a consumer campaign to change recycling behaviour, Recycle Now - www.recyclenow.com. WRAP wishes to commission a contractor to devise a consumer segmentation, and associated personae, to inform and drive campaigns for food waste recycling and dry materials/packaging recycling. Phase 1 will involve reviewing the evidence and insights held by WRAP on householder recycling, in order to establish, with clear recommendations: - what the evidence tells us about the values, attitudes, motivations, knowledge, demographics and other characteristics around recycling that drive consumer behaviour, and how that behaviour could be influenced by social marketing; -whether the insights held and / or new insights gathered via additional primary research could be used to develop a robust and practical segmentation of UK consumers for recycling. Phase 2 will comprise the development of a segmentation by analysing WRAP's existing information and, where necessary, collecting and analysing additional primary data, to create personae to aid the targeting of campaigns and enable Recycle Now to drive change more efficiently. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
