About this contract

Currently, a variety of vehicle types are employed via different commercial arrangements to deliver Explosive Ordnance Disposal & Search (EOD&S) capability across the spectrum of all Military Aid to the Civil Authorities (MACA) capabilities. Project GASKET will deliver this broad range of vehicles as a coherent capability. Provision, repair, maintenance and associated services of converted cars, vans and off-road vehicles is required. Vehicle conversion will be required to meet the specific System Requirements, primarily design and integration of vehicle racking to transport and best deliver equipment and personnel. The Authority's preferred route to market is via Crown Commercial Services' RM3814 DPS. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is an enabler inform the market of a potential opportunity and to allow the authority to develop options for the delivery of GASKET Project 1.
