About this contract

The Employer wishes to have gas audits undertaken by a independent Gas Quality Assurance Audit service provider as follows: - To assist Alliance Homes Group (AHG) to provide constant quality levels providing a system of Quality Control to monitor performance of the Gas Maintenance Team. This will include documentation, workmanship and customer satisfaction. - To use the Quality Assurance system as a tool to improve standards of service and quality of work carried out, not as a process to hinder and penalise operatives. Audit reports will be made available for each property visited. Monthly reports will be produced to analyse the findings to enable appropriate action to take place and to highlight specific trends. Where defects are identified during an audit a corrective action form will be completed for the operative and manager to record their comments and any action to be taken The preferred service provider will initially carry out 10% audit of all gas servicing and repair work carried out, ensuring each operative has a minimum of 1 audit per month, either Post Completion or Work In Progress and each operative having a minimum of one Work In Progress Audit per quarter All the properties will be either tenanted properties or sheltered accommodation units in North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Approximately 6500 properties are in the North Somerset area and approximately 2000 in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area (some properties are owned by United Communities which are maintained by AHG). Access to the properties will be in conjunction with the AHG representatives The duration of the contract is for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for 2 further period of 12 months, ending on 31st March 2025. AHG intends to award the contracts on 11th February 2020 to go live on 1st April 2020. Tender (ITT) submissions MUST be received no later than midday on Thursday 19th December 2019. Potential Providers must familiarise themselves with the operation of the e-tendering portal and allow sufficient time for the uploading of required documents.
